World Street by Omaxe, Faridabad
World Street is considered the ‘CP’ of Faridabad. CP (Cannought Palace) is a very famous destination of Delhi.

Surajkund
Surajkund which means ‘Lake of The Sun’. It is said that this kund (reserviour) was built by King Suraj Pal of Tomar dynasty. Surajkund is situated about 8 kms away from south Delhi.
Surajkund is mainly famous for hosting the International Crafts Mela. The mela is celebrated during the first 15 days of February every year. You must visit the mela at least once.

Baba Farid’s Tomb
Faridabad was named after Baba Farid, a popular Sufi Sant. The tomb has 2 huge doors made up of marbels. Inside the tomb, there are graves of Baba Farid and his son.

Death Valley or CITM lake
Actually there two lakes named as CITM lake 1 and CITM lake 2.
CITM lake formed after the collection of rainwater in the illegal stone mines. The location is really beautiful as well as dangerous. One should take precautions when going there.
It is recommended not to go there alone. CITM lake is also known as the Death Valley as there have been cases of suicide and deaths by drowning.

Unfortunately the badkhal lake now is totally dried up. It was a natural lake. The name of the lake was derived from the word ‘Beydakhal’- a Persian word.
